The last
visual sighting of the moon was at 6:02 am using 10x42 binoculars. This was
20 minutes before sunrise (6:22 am), 22 minutes before moonset (6:24 am) at an
azimuth
of 257 degrees (a little south of due west) and 35 minutes before mid-eclipse
(6:37 am).
